My holidays: 4º A

Easter holidays are coming up so we've been doing a class survey about our last holidays. Las vacaciones de semana santa están a la vuelta de la esquina así que hemos estado entrevistando a los compañeros de clase sobre las últimas vacaciones.

4º A. My pet went missing!!

Oh no!! Our students in 4ºA have lost their pets so we decided to head to the closest police station. // L@s alumn@s de 4ºA han perdido sus mascotas así que nos dirigimos inmediatamente a la comisaría más cercana.

There we found very nice police officers who asked us some questions about these mysterious events. // Allí nos encontramos con policías muy amables que nos hicieron algunas preguntas relacionadas con estos misteriosos sucesos.

We are very thankful we can count on them to help us find the missing pets. // Agradecemos enormemente poder contar con ellos para ayudarnos a encontrar las mascotas.

Here is an example of the questioning that has been carried out during the last week. // Veamos un ejemplo del interrogatorio llevado a cabo esta semana.

Hopefully they will find them soon safe and sound!! These officers are working really hard on the case. // ¡¡Esperemos que los encuentren pronto sanos y salvos!! Están trabajando muy duro en este caso.

  Riddles are puzzling questions to be solved.Can you guess the answers to these three riddles? Some of them are easier than others.Give it a go and have fun!

1.  Everybody has one.
If you remove the first letter, a bit remains.
If you remove the second, bit still remains.
After much trying, you might be able to remove 
the third one also, but it remains. It dies hard!

2.  Big as a biscuit, deep as a cup, even a river can't fill it up. What is it?

3.  A man who lives on the tenth floor takes the lift down to the first floor every morning and goes to work. When  he comes back from work on a rainy day, or if there are other people in the lift, he goes to his floor directly. Otherwise, he goes to the seventh floor and walks up three floors to his flat.

Why does the man do this?
